Are you looking for ways to enhance your prayer personally or with your colleagues this Lenten season?

There are some great resources available this Lent from around the JSN North American Network including weekly audio reflections, weekly emails, and some new books to read! Here are some we’ve come across:

BOOKS

Here are a few new books as well as old favorites for the Lenten Season:

  • The Tears of Things by Richard Rohr – available in print/audio versions.
  • Hope the Autobiography of Pope Francis

  • The Magnificat Lenten Companion

Weekly Series:

  • This Lent, Inspired by scripture’s call to “take heart,” thoughtful authors across the Catholic network will explore how God gives us the courage to meet the world’s hard-heartedness with tenderness. Subscribe to the series at igsol.net/lent-2025 for free daily reflections straight to your inbox.   • Jesuits East is offering a weekly audio reflection series entitled Transformational Love: Lenten Reflections 2025. You can subscribe to these here.
  • The Central and Southern Jesuit Province compiled a Stations of the Cross with Migrants you can access here.
  • Canadian Jesuits International have a weekly series called In Our Midst, a Lenten Series reflecting on hope in troubled times You can subscribe to here.
  • Internationally, the Social Justice and Ecology Secretariat (SJES) is offering Teaching Tuesdays. From 25 February 2025, SJES will provide weekly articles, valuable resources and webinars with engaging discussions to help participants explore key issues such as human dignity, racism, poverty, freedom, advocacy, corruption, the common good, subsidiarity, solidarity and others.
